Hi Music Lovers – I’ve been meaning to see the band Tucsonics for some time and finally made it to Monterey Court Tuesday night to catch their performance. What a pleasure! This is a Western Swing band, but of course, anytime you get Nick Coventry, Alvin Blaine, and Evan Dain together it doesn’t matter what they play – they are amazing! And of course, there were guests artists, including Joel Dvoskin singing a few tunes and an amazing harmonica player new in town (sorry – didn’t get his name – but I hope we see more of him!) Honestly – the talent in our town is the best anywhere and supporting live music is a win-win for everyone! So go on out there and get a dose of heaven from Tucson musicians!
