SATURDAY & SUNDAY: 1:00 – 4:00 PM
LOCATION: EL PRESIDIO PARK – Infront of City Hall under the Canopy of Trees
BALLAD TREE HOSTS: Teodoro Ted Rameriz and Don Copler
A tradition here and at other festivals, the Ballad Tree offers musicians an informal setting to present their songs in a round robin format. It could be a tune you just wrote or a song you learned from your grandfather 40 years ago.
This year the Ballad Tree is hosted on both Saturday and Sunday by our TKMA” Membership Guys” Teodoro Ted Ramirez and Don Copler! Ted & Don will be there both days between 1 and 4 pm hosting a continuous Song Circle.
The Ballad Tree welcomes beginners and masters players – Ted and Don encourage all acoustic instrument players, singers, poets, storytellers and listeners to stop by and share in our Song Circle.
Everyone is welcome to stop by the shady grove just west of the Plaza Stage and enjoy great acoustic folk music. No signups required, so just come on over with your instruments.
Come be part of the Folk Festival experience and have fun visiting with Ted and Don!
