Dear TKMA Friends, Family, and Fans of the Tucson Folk Festival:
Last year, the TKMA Board of Directors made the difficult decision to cancel the 35th Annual Tucson Folk Festival. We felt your pain and your worry in navigating the Covid-19 pandemic, and still even now are we united together in battling this virus until we are open and safe.
We have decided to move forward with our 36th Annual Tucson Folk Festival, but not by traditional means. We will be working together to bring an all-new festival experience to you on April 10th & 11th, 2021. More details will follow soon, but please know that we are dedicated to offering an event that strictly follows and encourages all current Covid-19 pandemic guidelines and regulations of its patrons, performers, and volunteers.
Keep an eye out for more news incoming! In such uncertain times, we need music now more than ever. TKMA is looking forward to providing a new and exciting experience with the 36th Annual Tucson Folk Festival. One thing’s for certain—it’ll be much more different than any previous festival!
Warmly,
Jonathan Frahm, PR Team Leader
