THANK YOU TO OUR TKMA SUPPORTERS

OUR DONORS AND MEMBERS MAKE THE TUCSON FOLK FESTIVAL POSSIBLE EACH YEAR.

As a thank you for your support, enjoy a download of our most recent Tucson Folk Festival compilation album! The album is a live, multi-tracked selection of performances from the 2024 Jacome Plaza Stage, mixed and mastered by Hanner House Records in Tucson with album artwork by muralist Jessica Gonzales. Thank you to all our performers for their incredible musicianship and generous permission to reproduce these performances as a fundraising effort.

Since 1986, more than 300 musicians gather every spring in Downtown Tucson to perform, swap songs, and teach at the Tucson Folk Festival. A grassroots and volunteer-driven endeavor at heart, the event is Arizona’s largest free to the public music festival, made possible each year with the generous support of individual donors and members. The annual celebration features more than 150 performances by local, regional and national acts on six stages, a young artist showcase, and a songwriting competition.

The Tucson Kitchen Musicians Association (TKMA) began as a group of friends gathering regularly on Friday nights for potlucks and jammin’ in the kitchen. TKMA has grown into a volunteer-directed 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 1986; Tax ID #86-0514808. Our mission is to further public awareness and interest in acoustic music and other folk arts by promoting and producing the annual Tucson Folk Festival; one of the oldest FREE folk music festivals in the country!

Regardless of membership level or donation amount, your contribution entitles you to many wonderfully unique musical opportunities, such as listening, performing and volunteering throughout the year and especially during our festival season.  You are now part of Tucson’s vibrant music scene and we will do our best to help you take full advantage of Tucson’s uniquely beautiful musical heritage.

Thank You

… for enjoying the Tucson Folk Festival and supporting TKMA to help keep the music playing for 40 years in Tucson.

Our main event, the annual Tucson Folk Festival, is an all-volunteer-operated 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The funds raised during the festival assist us in meeting key expenses to bring about this meaningful showcase of local and national Musicians.

From our generous sponsors and community partners who assist us each season to our members and donors, we thank you for helping us meet our budget.  Please consider becoming a TKMA Member and donating when you can. Help support live, local music at the Tucson Folk Festival.
