Over two hundred volunteers contribute annually to keep the Tucson Folk Festival running smoothly. The Tucson Folk Festival can only happen each year with volunteer support. It’s fun to be part of this event. We love our volunteers!
As a volunteer, you help TKMA present Arizona’s largest free-to-the-public music festival, a beloved annual event on the Tucson calendar since 1986. All festival volunteers will receive an official Tucson Folk Festival Volunteer T-Shirt at check-in, as well as their choice of a free raffle ticket or beverage ticket to redeem after their shift! HELLO to All You Wonderful Volunteers Out There!
Throughout the festival season (July – April), our community of dedicated volunteers supports many of our fundraising events that contribute to the success of the Tucson Folk Festival weekend! Each year’s Festival can only happen with the generous contribution of volunteers – be that volunteer worker, performer, staff/board member, or sponsor representative! Our volunteers give their hearts, time, and financial support to keep our Festival going. The Tucson Folk Festival is one of the oldest FREE Folk Music Festivals in the Country! We are proud to be part of that tradition.

Guidelines for Tucson Folk Festival and TKMA Volunteers
Thank you for volunteering for a TKMA event! As the public face of the Festival and the Association, we ask volunteers to abide by the following guidelines whenever actively volunteering at any event associated with TKMA. Please familiarize yourself with our Volunteer Guidelines & Code of Conduct:
We also ask our volunteers to acknowledge that they have read and understood our Volunteer Agreement prior to volunteering at any TKMA event.
